Halloween is my favorite holiday! Weren't you just in awe of all the candy you got on Halloween night? I was. Somehow all that forbidden candy was even better than presents from Santa. So to celebrate Halloween and for reaching 650 followers, I'm having a giveaway! I will pick three winners, and each winner will receive a spooky vampire journal from Peter Pauper Press and a fabric Halloween book cover (fits mass market paperbacks).
Okay, so my question for you is this:
If you are dressing up for Halloween this year, what is your costume? If you're not, what would your costume be?
I'll probably just throw on my witch hat and black dress, but someday I would REALLY love to dress up as Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter. I would make my husband go as the minister. Ha, ha!

ok, so this year i'm going to be a vampire, coolest thing is the dress i have, it has leather straps and a petticoat under it, Amy lent it to me, she wore it to dracula's ball one year. BUT the best are my kids costumes (becuz halloween is my fav holiday-amy's too) Dominic (5) is going to be Eric Northman from Trueblood, Jazmin (5) is going to be a mermaid, not Ariel, a classic mermaid, and my oldest is a ARF trooper from starwars, I'll post pics on our site.

I haven't officially decided if I'm going to dress up at all. I might just wear a Halloween shirt. I only have to take my kids trick or treating at this point. I kind of want to go as the guy from hangover with the baby. I already have the baby carrier and a baby doll, lol. I'm having my 3 year old go as a cowboy with the bottom half of him as a horse and my 2 year old daughter as a cowgirl which is complete with a ride on horse.

ReplyDeleteHalloween is my absolute favorite holiday, better then christmas and 4th of july (and I like blowing up fireworks <--I was going to say things but then I would probably get a visit from my friends over at the ATF :D I plan on dressing as a zombie or pirate this year. Not real imaginative but I think after the whole twilight phenomena <--thats not spelled right) there are going to be more vamps and wolves then we know what to do with out there.
