My Favorite Supernatural Bad Boys
By Roxanne Rhoads
I really think most women are programmed to be attracted to the bad boy, the broken boy, the dangerous boy, the boy most likely to break our hearts.
Why? That one I haven’t quite figured out yet…fatal flaw in female DNA perhaps.
Anyway…who portrays the bad boy better than a sexy supernatural.
For me, it’s mostly the vampires that get my bad boy motor running. They have all the darkness and danger I crave wrapped up in an intense package smoldering with sexuality and the possible promise of pain- emotional and possibly physical.
Supernatural bad boys can give a danger craving lady the thrill of a lifetime. They are the extreme epitome of the bad boy stereotype with the extra added bonus of real danger thanks to their supernatural strength and paranormal powers.
And with all that strength and paranormal power comes the possibility or supernatural sex.
Oh yeah. Ultimate fantasy indeed. Forget ho hum when you can have paranormal yum.
That’s why we love our paranormal romances and urban fantasy books so much. The men are gorgeous, strong, dangerous and delicious.
And they want us- normal, plain, human woman that finally can light that spark inside them that’s been missing for so long.
We get to fix their brokenness, tame their bad boy ways, all while being swooped up into supernaturally strong, muscle bulging arms and carried off to beds where we are shown unimaginable pleasure than no mere mortal could ever offer.
Nothing’s hotter than supernatural sex with the ultimate bad boys.
I know I can’t get enough. I love to read about the paranormal hotties as well as write about them.
Some of my favorite supernatural bad boys from books include Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, Kimberly Frost’s Bryn Lyons in her Southern Witch series, and Anyan Barghest from Nicole Peeler’s Jane True series.
On the TV screen I love Damon Salvatore on “The Vampire Diaries”, Henry Fitzroy from the “Blood Ties”, and Alcide Herveaux from “True Blood”.

About the Book:
Samuel is a centuries-old vampire who prefers to be a recluse. He is always afraid of losing control and becoming the monster he once was. Falling in love with a young witch has pushed his boundaries and pulled him out of his comfort zone.
Katerina always encourages Samuel to be more open, to let loose, and to really "live" instead of only existing in the shadows.
One night, he finally grants her wish . . . in ways she never imagined.
