SUNDAY POST is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's "a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead."
The September host of MAILBOX MONDAY is BookNAround. It's "a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists."

Recap! Here's what happened last week:
Sunday: I posted a review of TEMPTATION IN A KILT by Victoria Roberts.
Monday: We interviewed Debra Webb @ Novel Reflections. (We're still taking entries for the super-duper "Fall in Love with Forever" giveaway through Monday, 9/17/2012.)
I also posted a review of IRISH ICE by Emly Forrest.
Wednesday: I featured WHERE ANGELS REST by Kate Brady on my Waiting on Wednesday post.
Thursday: The AUDREY'S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT blog tour! I reviewed the book and featured an excerpt.
I also participated in Booking Through Thursday. The question was about organizing books.

Question: What's your favorite way to follow blogs? Blogger dashboard? Google reader? Other? What are your thoughts on "Linky Followers?"
I have the blogs I follow split up four ways.
- The ones I absolutely must read everyday I follow with Bloglovin.
- Blogger book blogs I follow by GFC (Blogger Dashboard).
- Wordpress and other book blogs I follow by Wordpress reader.
- Artsy, crafty, and witchy blogs I follow by RSS in Google Reader.
Have a great week!

My #1 is bloglovin'. I check it out several times a day and I follow every blog I like there. I like that you can add every blog you read to Bloglovin', you don't have to wait until the blog owner does it. I hope that Bloglovin' will get bigger and bigger in the book blogging community.
ReplyDeleteLinky Followers looks nice but isn't that practical IMO.
The two new cozy mysteries you got look nice.
Happy Reading!
I gave Linky Followers a try (for following blogs), but I didn't care for the set up. It needs some work on being user friendly.
DeleteI'm very pleased with Bloglovin, and I hope it continues to grow too!
looks like a great stack of books! i'd pick blogger dashboard.
ReplyDeleteMy post is here:
Sunday Shout Out
honestly, when it comes to linky followers, i just don't care.... I don't see how it works, I prefer to have people just subscribe to my RSS. I'm on WP, so no GFC. I bookmark people, follow their rss, follow via twitter and Facebook.
ReplyDeleteAbout your books, looks like you had a great week! I'm gonna pop over to your review of temptation in a kilt, I like comparing my thoughts to everyone else's... Anyhow, have a great week! Book Savvy Babe
Happy reading :) Deadly Patterns sounds right up my alley! I may have to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteI follow my fav blogs on Blogger dashboard or google reader.

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of these! I hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteMY SUNDAY POST
I have all my favorites bookmarked and then I visit every blog that leaves me a comment and usually by that time I have wasted a good couple of hours. So many blogs, not enough time. I have Audrey's Witchcraft scheduled in October glad to hear it is funny and spooky! I also like a good cozy mystery and it looks like you grabbed a couple! Hope they are good reads for you!
ReplyDeleteWow that is many ways to follow, I stick with my dashboard :)
ReplyDeleteI use email and GFC but I like email even though I get a lot because it's instant, and they're all in one spot.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all these awesome books, I can't wait to see what you think of If Mashed Potatoes Could Dance. ALso, thanks for stopping by my blog!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you have some yummy books to read! My favorite way to follow blogs in on Facebook. Most of them will say something when they have a new blog post. My least favorite is email.

Silver's Reviews
http://silversolara.blogspot.com
I follow all my favourite blogs by email, so I won't miss anything, makes it easy to read some email while at work, and delete if it is a review of a genre I don't like to read.
ReplyDeleteAll of the blogs I read are in Google Reader, and I separate them by folder. If I were to subscribe to my favorites by email, my inbox would be overflowing every day. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books!
