Review ratings are done on a 1 to 5-star scale, including half-ratings. I add the book's rating as a tag at the bottom of the review post.
- 5 Stars - Loved it. The book had an extra special "something" that really worked for me.
- 4 Stars - Liked it or really liked it. Would definitely recommend to fans of the book's genre.
- 3 Stars - Mixed feelings, but what I liked outweighed what I didn't.
- 2 Stars - Mixed feelings, but what I didn't like outweighed what I did.
- 1 Star - Not for me/Did not finish. I don't post reviews for these, but I do note them on Goodreads and LibraryThing.
I strive to be fair and courteous in my reviews, because I know a book that doesn't work for me will be enjoyable to other readers.
